Our modern fleet includes hydraulic excavators ranging from 1 to 13 tonne and skid steers(Bobcats) ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 tonne. These machines are considered to provide the most accurate job and enable Dig & Dug to perform more detailed excavations and digging, e.g. recesses in cuts, step downs, trenching, dogging, etc.

Attachments include various buckets to suit most projects requiring cut and fill and digging and also especial attachment for drilling holes and trenching earthworks together with rock breakers for different machines.

Dig & Dug machines all have “low hours”. We pride ourselves on undertaking regular machine maintenance with a scheduled service program to minimize downtime caused by breakdowns and to ensure ongoing safety and efficiency. Equipment movements and spoil removal are performed using our prime mover with float attachment and tandem, truck and trailer or semi-trailer tip trucks.

The need for additional equipment required during peak workloads is supplemented by reliable and competent subcontractors in regular employment with Dig & Dug .
